Definitely the place to stay in Port Harcourt. 24 hour room service. Platinum Club. Spa, barbershop. Everyone is more than polite. Just be prepared for island time. Some rooms need to be updated, but the staff and accommodations make up for that. Spent most of the time poolside. Tiny at the Platinum club will take care of you.

The seminar hall upstairs was quite spacious and well-ventilated. I enjoyed my stay the few hours I expended for the program. The security guard were helpful and the large parking space for cars made the entire experience convenient for me.

Hotel Presidential is one of the biggest and most popular hotels in Port Harcourt. It sits right on Aba Road in GRA, so it’s easy to reach and close to places like Pleasure Park, malls, and other fun spots. The hotel itself is huge, with hundreds of rooms and suites, plus big halls and tents that people use for weddings, conferences, and major events. Inside, the rooms are comfortable but a bit old-fashioned, clean enough and spacious, though you can tell the hotel has been around for years. The pool is large and inviting, there’s a gym, tennis courts, and several restaurants that serve both Nigerian food and international dishes. The bars and even the nightclub give it a lively touch if you want to hang out at night. Security is tight on the premises, which makes it feel safer compared to moving around the city. Overall, I’d say the hotel is a mix of prestige and history, it has charm and is still a go-to place in Port Harcourt, but you’ll also notice some parts could use an upgrade.
